Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Feb. 12)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — It will be a chilly start this morning as a cold dry air mass dominates the Southland.

Several Frost Advisories have been issued this morning throughout Inland areas. They will expire at 9 a.m. Daytime highs however will continue to creep up.

By tomorrow many areas will be in the 70s and the peak of this warm up will be Friday where some valley cities could reach into the 80s.

High pressure is building in from the Pacific and is strengthening the off-shore flow.

By the weekend we will cool down again as another inside slider drives into the Southwest. The winds may be a factor by Sunday and Monday.

For the time being enjoy the pleasant weather and pleasant Valentines Day.

Deserts- mid 50s
