Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Feb. 11)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The trough that moved through over the weekend is not shifting to the east, however we are still tapping into some cool air.

While today's highs will be warmer than yesterday, we are still running below average. That will change as we progress through the day. An off-shore flow is going to strengthen by this evening...and it will clear out what little cloud cover we have this morning.

As the off-shore flow kicks in there will be the potential for some gusty winds. For the rest of the week, high pressure will strengthen and bring us warmer temperatures.

Things should warm up for Valentines Day. Temps should be above average into the weekend, but by Sunday another trough dives into the west coast. Right now it looks like the same old story, little or no moisture but cold.

Overnight lows all week should be on the chilly side.

Coast-low 60s
Basin-low to mid 60s
Valleys-low to mid to 60s
Mountains-low 30s
Deserts- low 50s
