STUDIO CITY ( — Hawaii Five-O star Grace Park stopped by the KCAL9 studios Monday to talk about the new episode airing tonight!

In the episode titled, “Kekoa”, the team investigates the murder of a Lua (ancient Hawaiian hand-to-hand combat) master, and Doris McGarrett (Christine Lahti) hires a private investigator to follow his mother.

Treat Williams guest stars as the private investigator hired by McGarrett to follow his mother and Summer Glau guest stars as the daughter of the Lua master who comes to Five-0 for help.

Grace Park is best known to audiences for her starring role on the critically acclaimed series “Battlestar Galactica”, in which she played not one but two leading roles.  Her performance in the season one cliffhanger garnered her a place in TV Guide’s “100 Most Memorable Moments in TV History”.  The series received a Peabody Award in 2006 and has been named one of television’s best shows by Rolling StoneTV GuideThe New York Times MagazineEntertainment Weekly and Newsday.  Parks also earned a nomination for Outstanding Newcomer Award in 2006 by the Asian Excellence Awards for her work.

For her role on Hawaii Five-O, Park was nominated in both 2011 and 2012 for a Teen Choice Award for Choice TV Actress: Action.  In 2010, she received the Achievement Award in Entertainment by the KoreAm Awards.

Hawaii Five-O airs Monday nights at 10 p.m. on CBS2.
