Did Christopher Dorner Call Father Of A Woman He Allegedly Killed To Taunt Him?

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Associated Press is reporting that triple murder suspect Christopher Dorner might have made a taunting phone call to the former police captain whose daughter he is accused of killing.

People close to the investigation told the AP that a man called retired captain Randal Quan and told him he should have done a better job of protecting his daughter.

Monica Quan and her fiance, Keith Lawrence, were shot to death last Sunday.

The call was reportedly made several days following the slayings.

Officials say Dorner killed the couple -- with Quan as his target -- in a revenge killing.

Randal Quan represented Dorner in the disciplinary action that ultimately led to his firing in 2008.

In his 20-page manifesto, Dorner said he was angry at Quan for representing the LAPD's interests instead of his.
