STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Singer Janis Ian stopped by the KCAL9 studios on Saturday morning to discuss her ninth Grammy nomination.

Ian is nominated in the Spoken Word category for her audiobook titled Society’s Child.

President Clinton, First Lady Michelle Obama, Ellen DeGeneres and Rachel Maddow are also nominated in the same category.

During her visit, she also discussed the Pearl Foundation which Ian named after her mother.
