WESTLAKE VILLAGE (CBSLA.com) — A man died after the car he was driving crashed into a tree and caught fire in Westlake Village, authorities reported.
The incident was reported at 1:28 a.m. Friday at Agoura and Lindero Canyon roads, according to Rey Dong, a supervising dispatcher with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, Sgt. Chad Watters of the L.A. County sheriff’s Department said.
The man’s identity has not yet been released.
