LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A stolen vehicle suspect led authorities on a pursuit throughout the streets of Los Angeles and local freeways Thursday.

The chase began around 12:15 p.m. on the southbound 110 Freeway, Los Angeles police said. The vehicle was reported stolen out of the LAPD’s Southwest Division.

The suspect, a female driving a white Dodge SUV, exited the freeway and led authorities on a chase through the streets of South LA.

The driver then got on the eastbound 105 Freeway around 12:30 p.m. where speeds reached in excess of 80 mph, Gil Leyvas reported from Sky9.

The chase continued through the streets of Paramount and onto the 710 Freeway with the driver ultimately exiting the freeway in Commerce and surrendering to authorities.

The woman was arrested without incident.
