REDLANDS (CBSLA.com) — Police are investigating the armed robbery of a San Bernardino County ice cream shop.
According to the Redlands Police Department, the masked man entered the Banana Bowl Ice Cream shop in the 1500 block of Barton Road shorty before7:30 p.m. on Feb. 6.
“He displayed a handgun and ordered the owner of the shop to open the cash register,” Officer Carl Baker said.
The suspect took cash from the register and fled the store on foot into a nearby apartment complex.
No additional suspect description was available.
