STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Cliff Yates appeared on KCAL9 News on Sunday morning to talk about how he juggles two careers as both a deputy sheriff and stand up comedian.

Yates says he began entertaining people with his humor in high school.

He is set to appear live this week at the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood. The show — his first big theatre event — is slated for Feb. 7.
