PICO RIVERA (CBSLA.com) — A coroner’s official Saturday released the identity of a man in a wheelchair who was killed by a hit-and-run driver in Pico Rivera.
Coroner’s Lt. Larry Dietz identified the victim as 63-year-old Marcos Dominguez.
According to officials, Dominguez was fatally struck while trying to cross the street.
The accident occurred about 3:50 a.m. Friday on the 8200 block of Whittier Boulevard.
The suspect vehicle, described as a gray Mitsubishi, should have extensive front-end damage and could have parts missing from the impact, authorities said.
