WALNUT (CBSLA.com) — A suspect was injured in a deputy-involved shooting early Friday morning in Walnut.

The shooting occurred around 2 a.m. at Lemon Avenue and Paseo Del Prado Road, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.

The suspect was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

No deputies were injured in the incident.

It was unclear what the man was wanted for.
