LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Sheriff’s deputies were investigating a report Friday of an 80-year-old woman being assaulted on a bus in South Los Angeles.

A call came in at 1:00 p.m. about an incident on a bus at Century Bouleveard west of Normandie Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

SKY9′s Gil Leyvas reported the woman may have been attacked with both hands and feet.

The victim was taken off the bus and is receiving medical care.

The suspect reportedly fled on another bus.

No other details were immediately available.
