TORRANCE (CBSLA.com) — Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying a woman believed to be responsible for stealing wallets from numerous female victims as they shop in grocery stores.

Victims at Vons, Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods in Torrance have been targeted.

“Following the thefts, the suspect uses the victims’ credit cards to make purchases at businesses such as Target and Total Wine and More and to transact $2-4,000 cash advances at banks,” Torrance Police Department said in a statement.
