SAN JACINTO (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a paraglider in San Jacinto was left critically injured Sunday afternoon after crashing into a ridge.
A fire department spokesperson said the pilot was airlifted to a hospital with major injuries.
Rescue personnel were dispatched to the Church of Scientology property at Soboba and Gilman Springs roads after receiving a call at 1 p.m. about the downed paraglider, Riverside County Fire spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
