Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Jan. 24)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — It is a rainy morning for Southern California.

The cut-off low we have been watching continues to spin to the southwest of Southern California...and it continues to pump moisture into the area.

This is the first of two systems that will give us a chance at showers over the next several days. We can expect scattered showers through the day today. Totals will range between .50" to 1.00".

There is another chance for showers tomorrow morning once the low opens up and moves to the east. Then we wait for system number two. It appears Saturday will be dry but cooler.

The latest forecast models have the trough swinging down over land...which would make it dry and just give a chance at a passing shower. It looks like it is going to make its move late Sunday and into Monday.

As it exits we will have some gusty winds. The rest of next week looks dry and warmer.
