Bicyclist Sexually Assaults Female Jogger In Temecula

TEMECULA (CBSLA.com) — Riverside County authorities are searching for a suspect who sexually assaulted a female jogger while he was riding a bike.

The incident took place Jan. 21 near the intersection of Honors Drive and Southern Hills Drive in Temecula, Sgt. Curt Harris said.

The victim was jogging around 1:45 p.m. as the suspect, described as a male in his late teens, followed her on his bike.

“The suspect pedaled past her, sexually assaulted her and quickly fled the area,” Sgt. Harris said.

The woman was not injured and contacted the Temecula Police Department to report the assault.

The suspect is described as having medium-length, dark-colored unkempt hair. He’s approximately five feet eight inches tall with a thin build, and was wearing dark-colored shorts and a blue T-shirt, according to Sgt. Harris said.

He was last seen riding a black BMX-style bike.

Anyone with information should contact the Temecula Police Department’s Detective Bureau at (951)696-3000.

This is why I don’t go jogging! Am sure it is partially your reasoning too.
