BALDWIN PARK (CBS/AP) — A 15-year-old Baldwin Park High School student was arrested Wednesday for having ammunition on school grounds.
Administrators received an anonymous tip around noon that a student had a gun on campus, Baldwin Park Unified School District Superintendent Mark M. Skvarna said in a statement.
School district police found the unidentified suspect with a .40-caliber magazine containing 10 rounds of ammunition, but no gun.
Officers received consent to search the boy’s home and found a .40-caliber handgun.
It’s unclear what charges the suspect will face.
