LAKEWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Lakewood Regional Medical Center and three nearby schools were briefly placed on lockdown Tuesday after an armed man was reportedly spotted at the hospital.

Buena Vista High School, St. Pancratius Parish School, Collins Elementary School and the hospital were all placed on lockdown for an hour as a precaution.

Authorities conducted a thorough search of the area and were unable to find anything suspicious.
