Comedian Louis C.K.'s Photo Posted On 'Peeping Tom' Fliers

HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Fliers posted around Huntington Beach this week warn residents of an alleged "Peeping Tom" who's been spotted at a mobile home park.

But the posted photos of the alleged culprit have many people scratching their heads – it's none other than comedian Louis C.K.

Is it an off-beat publicity stunt? Is someone trying to trash C.K.'s image?

Resident Jacqueline Rivas had to do a double-take when she noticed the pictures looked a lot like the stand-up comedian and actor. She's convinced it's a hoax.

She posted photos of the flier on Twitter. She even emailed the comic about the fliers but he never responded.

"This really upset me because, as a fan of Louis C.K., I knew he had no connection to accusations that were on that flier. And I don't know who would go through the effort to put it up," Rivas said. "If it was meant to be funny, I don't think it's funny."

CBS2/KCAL9 reporter Jeff Nguyen reached out to the comedian's publicist but has not heard back.

The flier describes the alleged peeper as traveling around with a skateboard or bicycle and snatching glimpses of underage girls undressing. He is described as a man in his 40s, approximately 6 feet tall, with red hair, pale skin and a goatee.

It goes on to say that the culprit allegedly lives in a green mobile home at the Huntington By-The-Sea RV Park.

"It describes this park and a green mobile home and mine is green," said RV park resident Leonard Heller.

Several fliers were posted at Edison Community Park and even on a speed bump.

"I just hope somebody doesn't throw a brick through my window, you know. But that's the first I've ever heard of it pasted on the ground," Heller said.

The Huntington Beach Police Department said they have no information regarding the fliers or their contents.
