LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A South Los Angeles man was wounded on Monday after Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies responding to a call of shots fired ended up in a shootout.
KNX 1070′s Pete Demetriou reports the shootout erupted when deputies took gunfire after they pulled over a vehicle near 98th Street and Harvard Boulevard around 5:00 a.m.
The unidentified man was transported in unknown condition after the shooting. No deputies were injured.
A search for other possible shooters was underway.
No other details were immediately available.
