LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — One person has died and a second has been wounded in a shooting outside a West Los Angeles apartment complex.

Los Angeles police received a call about 12:12 p.m. Friday of a possible shooting near La Cienega Boulevard and Guthrie Avenue.

Officer Cleon Joseph of the Los Angeles Police Department says the victims, described as two males, were transported to an area hospital by a civilian.

According to authorities, one of the victims did die. The second was listed in critical condition.

Per City News Service, there have been no arrests.

No further information was immediately known.
