USC's Kiffin Denies Reports Of Fight Happening After Sun Bowl Game

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) - Head coach Lane Kiffin has denied reports Wednesday that a "flat-out-brawl" happened in the locker-room after losing to Georgia Tech 21-7.

Many thought it was an easy win for the Trojans, but Thursday multiple reports say between 10 and 15 of the USC players were involved in an all-out brawl in the locker room.

The fight allegedly started when younger players called out senior leaders, specifically Matt Barkley, who sat down his final game due to a shoulder injury he sustained against UCLA.

"Contrary to media reports, there was not a brawl or altercation in our locker room after the Sun Bowl," said Lane Kiffin in a statement release by the University. " There was a noisy verbal exchange among a couple players who were frustrated with the outcome of the game. It lasted less than a minute and was nothing physical. It happens sometimes in football locker rooms after a disappointing loss."

USC ended up with of 7-6 record.
