2 Hurt In South LA Shooting

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Two people were treated for gun-related injuries after a reported shooting in South Los Angeles, police said Wednesday.

Emergency crews were dispatched to 53rd and Figueroa streets around 10:46 a.m., according to LAPD 77th District.

One of the victims was described as being in his 20s. No other information on the second victim was immediately available.

Injuries to both victims were described as non-life-threatening, according to SKY2's Derek Bell.

Police said the drive-by shooting is a suspected gang retaliation.

A possible suspect in a gold Toyota was seen leaving the scene.
