ORANGE (CBSLA.com) — A father was critically injured and his daughter killed Saturday when a car plowed into them at a bus stop in Orange.
Rachel Kim, reporting for CBS2 and KCAL9, said the 3-year-old girl was declared dead at an area hospital.
The girl and her parents were waiting at the bus stop. The mother was uninjured, according to Kim.
The accident occurred in the 1700 block of N. Tustin, across from Taft.
The driver, identified as a 29-year-old male, remained at the scene. He was reportedly driving with his 5-year-old son in the car. Both were uninjured.
The unidentified driver said he swerved to avoid a car that cut him off.
