PALMDALE (CBSLA.com) — Investigators say they have found thousands of dollars’ worth of narcotics inside a Palmdale home.
The discovery was made inside a residence in the 37400 block of Laramie Street.
According to authorities, Los Angeles County sheriff’s Deputies were sent to the location to investigate a tip.
Upon arriving on scene, authorities allegedly found several plastic bags filled with methamphetamine. The drugs had an estimated street value of $8,000, authorities said.
Investigators also discovered cash and other items allegedly related to drug sales.
The suspect, identified by authorities as 35-year-old Jose Lopez, was placed under arrest.
It was not immediately clear what charges, if any, he faced.
