HOUSTON (CBSLA.com) Steve Nash got his 10,000th assist Tuesday night against the Houston Rockets, becoming the 5th NBA player to ever to reach the milestone.
Nash got his 10,000th assist during the second quarter, right before halftime off a pick-and-roll with Antawn Jamison.

The 38-year-old becomes the 5th person to reach the milestone, joining John Stockton, Jason Kidd, Mark Jackson and Laker-great Magic Johnson.
Nash, who is on his first year with the Lakers, is averaging 8.8 assists per game this season.
