STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Seven people were hurt in a hit-and-run crash on the eastbound Ventura (101) Freeway in Studio City on Monday afternoon.

The multi-vehicle accident was reported around 1:20 p.m.

A woman was critically injured when she was ejected from her car.

Another car overturned as a result of the collision.

The driver of one of the vehicles fled the scene.

Six people were taken to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
