MORENO VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — A police chase ended in Moreno Valley Friday with a car collision, injuring the suspect and at least one innocent person in another car.

Riverside Sheriff’s deputies and Moreno Valley police officers began chasing the suspected car thief at around 9 p.m.

Approximately 40 minutes later, the suspect crashed his vehicle into a red car near the intersection of Lasselle Street and Krameria Avenue.

At least one person in the red car was hurt and taken to a hospital.

The suspect fled on foot. He was later apprehended and taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
