Lady Gaga To Offer Mental Health Services During LA Concerts
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Pop singer Lady Gaga plans to offer professional mental health services to fans at two upcoming concerts in Los Angeles.
Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, known more commonly as Lady Gaga, says concert-goers will have access to professional, private or group, chats as part of pre-concert festivities.
“For those wondering about the “counseling” at the BTWBall BornBrave pre-show, it will be a fun tailgating experience for monsters to unite,” @ladygaga tweeted on Dec. 28.
The services will offer support for depression and for other issues like bullying or problems at school or with friends.
“I feel like most kids don’t look for help because they feel embarrassed so mom + I wanted to break the stigmas around “help” and make it fun,” she continued via Twitter.
Lady Gaga is set to perform at STAPLES Center on Jan. 20 and 21 as part of her Born This Way Ball tour.
The services are being sponsored by Lady Gaga’s Born this Way Foundation.
