SANTA FE SPRINGS (AP) — Police have arrested a 35-year-old man in connection with a body that was discovered encased in newly poured concrete inside a Southern California heating and air conditioning business.
The Whittier Daily News reported Monday that police received information Sunday night that a homicide victim was located inside a business in Santa Fe Springs.
With the help of dogs, the body of an adult male was recovered on Monday. Police later arrested Juan Alberto Galviz at a nearby business.
Police are investigating the relationship between Galviz and the victim.
No other details have been released.
Officer Brad White says it’s not known whether Galviz has retained a lawyer.
