Suspect Wounded In Officer-Involved Shooting In Long Beach
LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a suspect has been wounded in an officer-involved shooting in Long Beach.
Officers were dispatched to the 6800 block of Beechley Avenue just after 5 a.m. Saturday following a "shots fired" call.
"During their investigation, an officer-involved shooting occurred," said Long Beach police Sgt. Aaron Eaton. "One suspect was shot and transported to a local hospital."
According to Eaton, the suspect is believed to be in stable condition.
No officers were injured.
