SIMI VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman wanted in connection to a purse and credit card theft at a Ventura County grocery store.

The suspect reportedly pilfered a purse from a Simi Valley Ralph’s store on Dec. 6, and within hours, used a stolen credit card at a nearby Best Buy, police said.

“An image of the suspect was provided by Best Buy and investigators are asking for the communities help in identifying her,” Stephanie Shannon of the Simi Valley Police Department said.

The suspect is described as a female, possibly of Asian descent and in her late 20’s or early 30’s, authorities said.

Anyone who knows or may have information about this suspect is asked to call Detective Federico at (805) 583-6282.
