LEXINGTON (CBSLA.com) — Officials at the University of Kentucky say a 17-month-old California girl missing since October 15 was found there safe and sound.
Police say they found Alouette Day-Moreno-Baltierra on Thursday night.
Authorities said they got a call about a “suspicious person” being on campus.
When they checked the call out, they said they found the woman and the child.
According to campus police, the woman claimed to be the child’s grandmother.
Police have not yet released the woman’s name. They say the woman had no connection to the University of Kentucky.
