SHERMAN OAKS (CBSLA.com) — A Sherman Oaks man is tripping the light fantastic about now.

Mike Ziemkowski is a finalist in the “Deck the House” holiday lights contest.

Ziemkowski lives in the 3900 block of Longview Valley Road….not that the house isn’t visible from blocks away. His display boasts 50,000 LED lights and features animatronics all run by computer.

The winner gets $100,000 to donate to the LA Unified School District.
