Police Looking For Dodgers-Loving Robbery Suspect

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Detectives in East Los Angeles are looking for a robbery suspect who likes to commit his crimes decked out in Dodgers paraphernalia.

They believe he has committed at least two robberies in the East LA area.

The first was the hold up of a smoke shop on Whittier Boulevard on November 19 around 7:35 p.m.

In that robbery, the suspect -- wearing a Dodgers cap and hoodie -- pepper-sprayed the store owner and fled the store with undisclosed property he did not pay for.

The second incident occurred in Maywood -- at a Radio Shack on Slauson Avenue -- nine days later around 5:30 p.m.

In that robbery, the suspect asked to see an Apple iPad. When the clerk turned his back the suspect reached over the counter, grabbed the iPad and fled.

The suspect is described as a Latino, in his 20s, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and between 180-210 pounds. He has brown eyes and a goatee.
