GARDENA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities are asking for the public’s help to find a critical missing man in Gardena.

Officials say Rueben Herrera, 57, has the mental capacity of a 4-year-old. Herrera is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall and about 160 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, blue jeans and blue snowboard boots.

Herrera was last seen in the vicinity of 1200 W 155th Street at 10:45 Saturday morning.

It is possible that Herrera will beg for money and look like a transient, say Gardena police.
