82-Year-Old Man Arrested On Suspicion Of DUI Following Fatal Crash
WILLOWBROOK (CBSLA.com) — An 82-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a fatal collision in South Los Angeles.
The driver was identified in a California Highway Patrol department statement as Willie Crenshaw of Los Angeles.
According to authorities, Crenshaw was traveling westbound on El Segundo Boulevard just west of Main Street in Willowbrook when the pedestrian entered the roadway and was struck.
The accident occurred about 8:30 p.m. Friday.
The pedestrian, whose name has been withheld pending notification of next of kin, was identified as a 65-year-old woman from Los Angeles.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
