3 Sought After Armed Robbery At Santa Monica Fast Food Joint
SANTA MONICA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities on Friday continued to search for three suspects in connection with an armed robbery at a fast food restaurant in Santa Monica.
The incident at a Jack in the Box located in the 800 block of Santa Monica occurred about 3:55 a.m. on Dec. 18.
Police say the suspects, identified as three males, entered the location wearing ski masks and ordered an employee and customer into the eatery's walk-in freezer.
According to police, one of the suspects was armed with a knife.
The men, described as possibly Hispanic, were believed to be between 5-feet-7-inches to 5-feet-10-inches tall. They were wearing dark-colored clothing, jeans and gloves.
Police said the suspects fled in a gold-colored Chevrolet Suburban with an undisclosed amount of cash.
