STUDIO CITY ( — Want to take Fido everywhere dogs are welcome? A new app has can find the places!

“Where My Dogs At” application creators Jonathan Kolker and Gareth Wilson stopped by the KCAL9 studios Thursday to talk about their free new app that helps dog lovers find the best places to take their four-legged friends.

The app lets you find the best restaurants, cafes, parks, pet stores, vets, hotels apartment buildings and more for you and your dog.

The idea first came about three years ago when Eddie, the app mascot, joined Jonathan’s family. Jonathan realized that there was no good way to find places in town that were dog friendly, so he made a list of some cool dog-friendly spots and shared it with friends. It was Gareth’s idea to take that list and turn it into Where My Dogs At.

Where My Dogs At lets you truly connect with friends and even meet new dog lovers around you. If you see somebody you like, you can always send them a “wag, arf or what up dog!”

The app is available to download for the iPhone and Android. For more information, click here.
