EL SEGUNDO(CBSLA.com) The Los Angeles Lakers hosted a holiday party for the Boys and Girls Club of Los Angeles at their El Segundo training facility Thursday.

It couldn’t have come at a better time as the Lakers are riding a three-game winning streak.

“I’m here with my best friend Javier and we want to wish you a Merry, Merry Christmas, Dwight Howard said.

From Feliz Navidad to We Wish You A Merry Xmas, Howard led the Christmas Carols with all the children who were privileged to have a Christmas Party with one of the best basketball players in the world.

“It’s always a fun time of the year,” said Kobe Bryant said in his purple and gold Santa chair.  “The holidays come around and you get a chance to appreciate things and take time out to give back. It’s a great time of the year….Merry Xmas to everyone.”

The Lakers will face the first-place Knicks on Christmas day at the Staples Center at noon.
