STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — A fire has temporarily closed a 24-hour Du-Par’s Restaurant in the San Fernando Valley.
The fire broke out just before 11 p.m. Tuesday at 12036 Ventura Boulevard, Los Angeles Fire Department officials said.
It was knocked down in 18 minutes by 51 firefighters.
A Du-Par’s employee suffered from smoke inhalation and was taken to a local hospital in good condition, fire officials said.
The fire mainly charred an outside storage area, but smoke also damaged the kitchen and an upstairs office.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Du-Par’s will remain closed pending a Health Department inspection.
