BREA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities have positively identified the body found floating in a lake Sunday as a missing Arizona State University student who hailed from Brea.
Jack Culolias, 19, a freshmen at the university, went missing more than three weeks ago.
The body was found Sunday morning, Tempe, Ariz., police spokesman Sgt. Mike Pooley.
The Maricopa County Medical Examiner did not announce a cause of death.
Culolias was last seen at about 11 p.m. Nov. 30. He had been attending a fraternity event at the Cadillac Ranch restaurant and bar in Tempe.
“He was escorted out by security,” Pooley said. “He was very intoxicated.”
