ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — A woman has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after her car jumped a curb and plowed into an Anaheim home.
The accident occurred about 3 a.m. Sunday at Stadco Avenue near Fremont Street.
Anaheim police Sgt. Bob Dunn tells KNX 1070 that arriving officers found a car that had plowed into the front of the residence.
The impact of the crash also sparked a fire which was quickly extinguished.
No one was home at the time.
“When we arrived, we located a female who we believe to be the driver. She was doing a series of tests and was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence,” Dunn said.
The house suffered moderate damage.
It was not immediately known how many residents, if any, have been displaced by the crash.
