FONTANA (CBSLA.com) — A 70-year-old man has died following a house fire in Fontana.

The early morning blaze broke out at a home in the 16400 block of Arrow Route.

A statement issued by the San Bernardino County Fire Department says crews arrived on scene five minutes after receiving a call of the fire.

The blaze was put out within 10 minutes.

The deceased, identified as an elderly man, was transported to a local hospital where he died.

The cause of the fire was still under investigation.
