According to Diaz, the female victim -- now identified as a 51-year-old woman -- died around 8:20 p.m. The second victim, a 49-year-old man, remains in serious but stable condition.

A suspect, identified as 59-year-old Hrant Meguerian, is in custody. Meguerian is the female victim's ex-husband.

Investigators say Meguerian was involved in a dispute with the male victim before shooting both. He remained at the scene and was taken into custody by officers.

Meguerian was booked on murder and attempted murder charges. His bail has been set at $1 million.
