BURBANK (AP) — Burbank police are trying to find out who left 10 big barrels of toxic materials on a city street.
Police told the Los Angeles Times the 50-gallon barrels discovered Friday were threatening to spill into a nearby storm drain.
The barrels were full of substances resembling tar and white paint, possibly used for roofing.
Some of the barrels were leaking their contents toward the storm drain, but firefighters were able to contain it and clean up the spill.
