LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — About 16 tons of marijuana worth up to $300 million was seized by authorities Thursday at a nursery in Long Beach.
Narcotics agents made the bust at Rolling Hills Nursery in the 6900 block of Orange Avenue, according to Capt. Mike Parker of the LA County Sheriff’s Department Headquarters Bureau.
Deputies said they received a tip that marijuana was being shipped to the location.
Parker said the pot, which has an estimated value of between $150 million and $300 million, was found in two large storage containers.
Four unidentified men were arrested in connection to the incident.
