Dodgers’ Adrian Gonzalez And Wife Betsy To Hand Out Thousands Of Toys To Children At East LA Civic Center

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) – Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez and his wife Betsy will hand thousands of toys to children at the East Los Angeles 12th annual winter wonderland holiday celebration, Saturday at 11a.m.

The 12th annual East L.A. Winter Wonderland Holiday celebration also features an outdoor ice-skating rink with free ice skating for the kids, a snow zone, photos with Santa, a tree lighting ceremony with Dodger alumnus Bobby Castillo, a holiday concert and children’s choir, face-painting, arts and crafts and seasonal antojitos (tasty treats) from local restaurants.

More than 4,000 children and families are expected to visit Saturday’s festivities.

The Gonzalez family will also join L.A. County Supervisor Gloria Molina to help pass out the toys at Ice event at the East LA Civic Center.
