HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Actor Hugh Jackman received the 2,487th star Thursday on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The ceremony was held in front of Madame Tussauds Hollywood wax museum on Hollywood Blvd.
Jackson’s portrayal of Jean Valjean in “Les Miserables” has received him Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globe Award nominations.
The 44-year-old Australian actor began his career in 1995 when he starred in the Australian television prison drama “Correlli.”
Talk show host Jay Leno joined Jackman in speaking at the ceremony.
