Woman Who Claims She Was Sexually Assaulted Is Suing Lakers Forward Devin Ebanks

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) - A woman who claims she was sexually assaulted by Lakers forward Devin Ebanks has decided to sue him, according to the woman who is known in court documents as "Jane Doe"

Doe said she was continuing to seek legal redress even though the District Attorney's office found insufficient evidence to prosecute Ebanks.

Jane Doe is suing the NBA player for sexual assault, defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress. She said the two met at an LA night club.

She said she agreed to go back to his Marina Del Rey apartment if they agreed not to have sex.

Nevertheless, after the two began kissing, Ebanks grabbed a condom and became sexually aggressive. She maintains she told him to stop.

"What's the big deal, it's just sex ... I'm on the Lakers," Ebanks said, according to the suit.

Doe claims Ebanks got mad and threw her purse, shoes and keys outside and kicked her out of the house.

The woman also says that Ebanks posted false information on his twitter account saying she made up the rape allegations.
